US Department of Efficiency: US tax laws urgently need to be simplified
Odaily Planet Daily News The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) of the United States issued a document in X saying: "In 1955, the United States tax law was less than 1.5 million words. Today, the number of words in the code has exceeded 16 million words. Because of this complexity, Americans spend a total of 6.5 billion hours every year preparing and filing taxes. This urgently needs to be simplified."
