On January 21st, according to the typical case of punishing gambling and related crimes in accordance with the law released by the Supreme People's Court, the Rongchang District People's Court of Chongqing tried the case of defendant Wang Zhimou opening a casino. He developed agents and gamblers through the "Yuzu Alliance" gambling platform, with a total amount of 590 million yuan involved, including more than 900 bank card accounts and virtual currency funds. The court sentenced Wang Zhi to four years and five months in prison and a fine for the crime of opening a casino, while confiscating illegal gains and funds involved in the case.
