India raided over 60 locations in Gainbitcoin fraud case, seizing $2.75 million worth of cryptocurrency

According to News.bitcoin, India's Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) announced this week that it has seized cryptocurrency worth 239.4 million Indian rupees (approximately $2.75 million) and other key evidence in a nationwide raid on the Gainbitcoin fraud case. The agency conducted searches in over 60 locations in India on February 25-26, 2025, targeting individuals and entities suspected of money laundering fraud. The main cities participating in this operation include Delhi, Pune, Nadd, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Mohari, Jansi, and Hubly.
