According to BlockBeats, on March 22nd, Politico reported that the Super PAC network, funded by the cryptocurrency industry, will support two Republican candidates from Florida in the April 1st U.S. House of Representatives special elections. This network includes Fairshake, Defend American Jobs, and Protect Progress. Among them, Defend American Jobs will invest $1.2 million in advertising to support Florida Senator Randy Fine. Fine once posted on X platform, stating that "Floridians hope to see cryptocurrency innovation" and calling for the introduction of "clear regulatory rules".
The Super PAC will also invest $345000 to support Jimmy Patronis, who plans to run for the seat of former Congressman Matt Gaetz. Patronis had previously written to the Florida Board of Governors requesting a study on whether it is possible to invest some of the state pension funds in digital assets.
Currently, there are four vacant seats in the United States House of Representatives, two of which are in Florida. If the Democratic Party wins all the seats, the Republican Party's lead in the House of Representatives will be reduced to only one vote.
