BlockBeats news, on March 26th, according to Italian media L'Union Sarda, Vaulta (formerly EOS) parent company Block Brendan Blumer (BB), CEO of One and Chairman of Bullish, recently purchased the Romazizino villa for a record breaking 160 million euros (approximately 172.8 million US dollars). Excluding Villa Certosa, this transaction is the highest value transaction in the history of real estate in Sardinia and even Italy.
This villa located in Romazizino, Rome, is one of the most luxurious mansions on the Costa Smeralda and the former residence of Ahmed Zaki Yamani, the former Saudi oil minister. The mansion boasts a 350 meter coastline, covering an area of 2.3 hectares, with 28 bedrooms, 35 bathrooms, spacious terraces, two private beach entrances, two exclusive docks, three swimming pools, and approximately 23000 square meters of gardens and supporting facilities.
Brendan Blumer founded Gamecliff, an automated trading platform for virtual props in online games, at the age of 14. In 2010, Okay.com was launched to create a collaborative data sharing ecosystem for the Asia Pacific real estate market, which later developed into the largest digital real estate intermediary in Hong Kong. In 2017, he co founded Block.one with Dan Larimer (BM), dedicated to the research and development of blockchain technology.
BlockBeats note: Since the departure of founder BM, the core team of Block.one has been almost entirely composed of BB personnel. BB's mother Nancy Kasparek is responsible for the investment business EOSVC, while her sister Abby Blumer is responsible for the entire operation and marketing of Block.one. Most of the remaining executives have labels such as "Iowa" (BB's hometown), "Hong Kong" (BB's 15 year workplace), and "Real Estate Software Development Company" (BB's previous industry).
