Aave contributor bgdlabs initiates ARFC proposal for Aave v3.4 version update
Foresight News reported that Aave contributor bgdlabs has initiated an ARFC proposal regarding the update of Aave v3.4 version. The changes to Aave v3.4 include: migrating custom GHO on v3 Core to standard a/v Token without the need for user migration; Introduce a new position manager role that can perform a limited number of operations, and each user can selectively configure it; Cancel the direct injection of lightning loan fees into suppliers to reduce the complexity of increased liquidity index and overall protocol security model; Open DAO to redistribute costs asynchronously, allowing suppliers and/or Umbrella equity holders to protect assets; Upgrade the core protocol smart contract to Solidity 0.8.27, etc.
