Bitdeer prioritizes self mining to cope with market and tariff pressures, plans to launch domestic manufacturing in the United States

According to Bloomberg, Nasdaq listed mining company Bitdeer has decided to prioritize using its own equipment for Bitcoin self mining and reduce external sales due to weak demand for mining machines. The company plans to transport mining machines from Southeast Asia to the United States during the 90 day tariff buffer period announced by Trump, and start domestic manufacturing in the United States in the second half of this year. In addition, Bitdeer is expanding to Canada and Ethiopia, and laying out its AI and high-performance computing capabilities, with the goal of increasing global computing power to 2.6GW by 2026.
