Axelar has integrated with the Sui mainnet, unlocking unlimited liquidity for assets and applications on the Sui chain

According to BlockBeats, on May 8th, the Sui mainnet has officially achieved interoperability through the cross chain interoperability network Axelar (AXL). Asset issuers can seamlessly deploy native assets to the Sui network through Axelar's secure Interchain Token Service (ITS), providing users with a chain agnostic interactive experience. This integration coincides with a surge in DeFi activity on the Sui chain, with over 1.4 million daily active addresses driving over $11 billion in trading volume in the past 30 days. At present, multiple Sui ecosystem leading projects including Aftermath, AlphaFi, and Bluefin have begun to integrate Axelar's cross chain capabilities, promoting Sui to become a DeFi infrastructure with global liquidity.
