Bitgo obtains MiCA license in Germany to expand its digital asset services in Europe
According to Bitcoin.com, Bitgo announced that it has obtained a license for the Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA) issued by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), allowing the company to provide regulated digital asset services throughout the European Union. Bitgo Europe GmbH has completed registration in multiple EU member states, including Italy, Spain, Poland, and Greece. With its MiCA license, Bitgo can conduct business within the EU based on a unified regulatory framework, thereby enhancing its ability to provide support for crypto native companies and traditional financial institutions.
