Ukrainian police arrest a man suspected of hacking into international company servers for cryptocurrency mining

On June 5th, according to Cointelegraph, Ukrainian police arrested a man on charges of hacking into an international hosting company's account and using its servers for cryptocurrency mining, which is clearly a case of "crypto hijacking". The network police of the Ukrainian National Police stated in a statement that the 35 year old man from the Poltava region has been searching for cybersecurity vulnerabilities in multiple international companies and gaining access to their servers since at least 2018.
