[Binance Accused of Facilitating Terrorist Organization Fund Transfers, Sued by U.S. Victims] 306 U.S. victims and their families of the 2023 Hamas attacks on Israel have filed a lawsuit against Binance and its founder Changpeng Zhao in federal court in North Dakota, accusing them of assisting Hamas and other terrorist organizations in handling over $1 billion in funds, including more than $50 million still circulating after the attacks. Although Changpeng Zhao pleaded guilty in 2023 and served a four-month sentence before being pardoned by President Trump, the lawsuit alleges that Binance continues to support illegal financial activities. The plaintiffs are seeking compensation and triple punitive damages.
