Upbit has suspended digital asset deposits and withdrawals, tracked the outflow of assets, and frozen approximately 2.3 billion KRW in assets. In this incident, Upbit confirmed the total amount of damaged assets to be approximately 44.5 billion KRW, of which user losses amounted to about 38.6 billion KRW. Upbit has pledged to fully compensate user losses using its own assets. Upbit is currently undergoing a comprehensive upgrade of its wallet system and will resume digital asset deposit and withdrawal services once security is confirmed.
