[Swiss AMINA Bank Becomes the First European Bank to Launch Ripple's Cross-Border Payment Settlement Solution]
AMINA, a crypto bank regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), has officially launched Ripple's cross-border payment settlement solution, becoming the first European bank to adopt this system. This integration connects blockchain settlement with traditional banking systems, allowing customers to conduct cross-border transfers within a regulated framework. AMINA's Chief Product Officer, Myles Harrison, noted that traditional correspondent banking networks cannot simultaneously support fiat and stablecoin rails. Ripple's technology enhances the bank's capabilities, reduces cross-border friction, and helps crypto-native clients maintain a competitive edge.
