Indeed, anything is possible, especially in the cryptocurrency market. The non-farm payroll data from the U.S. was so fake it seemed entirely real. Once the data came out at night, the market experienced a sharp spike, with more than $200 million in long positions liquidated within an hour, which is indeed terrifying! In fact, the volatility isn't too large, just a drop from around 81200 to about 79200, a fluctuation of 2000 points. The fact that so many long positions were liquidated can only mean that the leverage was so high, it's destined to be a gamble; winning means hanging out with models at clubs, losing means going back to work... Recently, Bitcoin is above 80000 and Ethereum is above 2500. In these positions, those who are heavily investing in long positions and chasing the market, I can only say, brother is bold, with money comes recklessness...
Sharp spikes are common; otherwise, how else would one buy at lower prices? The mindset at midnight continues to focus on accumulating longs. Currently, those holding long positions around 79500 and 2450 should continue to hold! For now, there's no need to consider averaging down. According to Zhongliang's viewpoint, Thursday's market will rally to liquidate shorts, Friday will use the data to spike and liquidate longs, Saturday and the weekend will trend sideways to tempt shorts, and Monday's opening will continue to rise. Of course, this is just Zhongliang's speculation.
From the chart perspective, Bitcoin's hourly chart shows signs of stopping the decline, with the price returning above the lower trend line. The KDJ and RSI indicators both show signs of turning upwards after being oversold at lower levels, and on the 4-hour chart, the mid-level is stopping the decline.
Those without long positions in Bitcoin can still participate around 79500-79000, with target levels to watch at 80500, 81500, and 82500.
Those without long positions in Ethereum can take initial positions in longs around 2440-2400, with target levels to watch at 2480, 2530, and 2600.
