[UPBIT Discovers Internal Wallet Vulnerability That Could Infer Private Keys] Oh Kyung-seok, CEO of South Korean cryptocurrency exchange UPBIT, stated on Friday that during the investigation into the $30 million theft earlier this week, a serious security vulnerability was discovered in the internal wallet system. UPBIT did not directly link this vulnerability to the attack, stating that the issue was identified and resolved on November 27 during a comprehensive inspection following abnormal withdrawals from Solana-related wallets.
