The Ethereum Foundation announces the list of funded projects for the first quarter of 2026

The Ethereum Foundation has released a list of funding projects for the first quarter of 2026, covering cryptography, zero knowledge proofs (ZK), and protocol infrastructure construction. The supported projects include Geth, Erigon, and Lighthouse client optimization, Pectra upgraded network monitoring tool, HSM key management, validator tool Vero, DISC-NG node discovery mechanism, etc. In the fields of cryptography and ZK, funding has been provided for projects such as Poseidon hash function analysis, Gr ö bner basis attack research, exploration of quantum and homomorphic hybrid encryption, and formal verification of RISC-V zkVM.
