DTCC announces acceleration of securities tokenization service development

The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) announced the acceleration of the development of securities tokenization services and formed an industry working group with over 50 financial institutions, including BlackRock JPMorgan Chase、 Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Circle, Ripple Labs, Payward, etc. The service is planned to conduct controlled production transaction test in July 2026, and will be officially launched in October 2026. It will be the first batch to support high liquidity assets such as S&P 1000 constituent stocks, mainstream ETFs and US treasury bond bonds.
