According to foreign media reports, the Pentagon has awarded a $500 million contract to Scale AI, supported by Meta Platforms, for data processing and decision assistance. This amount is five times the $100 million contract that the company obtained in September 2025. Dan Tadross, the head of the public sector business for Scale AI, stated that the Pentagon has "pushed to the limit" in the original contract and believes this indicates an urgent need for technology in the department. In addition, Scale AI has also participated in the "Thunder Furnace" program of defense innovation units and Trump's "Golden Dome" homeland defense architecture.
