METH Protocol announced that it will gradually shut down the liquid collateral token cmETH, with a maximum TVL of approximately $620 million. At present, new casting has been stopped, and existing positions can continue to be redeemed and cross chain. The project team plans to complete the distribution of EigenLayer rewards before mid June 2026. The activity reward collection window will be closed on November 7, 2026, and rewards that are not collected after the deadline will be invalidated. If future AVS or partner TGE includes retroactive rewards, they will continue to be distributed to eligible users. METH pledged products do not require user operation.
