According to CoinDesk, FalconX stated that on some trading days, the trading volume of the decentralized derivatives platform Hyperliquid has exceeded that of Ethereum. Institutions and hedge funds are shifting from Bitcoin and Ethereum to high volatility assets such as HYPE, Zcash, Venice, and AI concept tokens. FalconX pointed out that the implied volatility of BTC and ETH is close to historical lows, and macro uncertainty and outflow of spot ETF funds are driving funds to seek higher volatility targets.

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin discusses the idea of a synthetic stablecoin, stating that the US dollar is not the best anchor. He proposed to generate user specific stabilization tools through personalized consumption indices and market forecasting, in order to achieve a decentralized stablecoin model that does not require fiat currency support.
