The EU MiCA transition period will end on July 1, 2026, and ESMA has stated that unauthorized encryption service providers must cease serving EU customers and initiate business closure. AMF claims unauthorized services or criminal offenses, and Germany requires authorization to be completed by June 30th at the latest. Some users in Europe still use unauthorized platforms.
