According to AXIOS, Witkov and Kushner have reached a 60 day memorandum of understanding with Iran, which includes a ceasefire, reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, restrictions on oil exports and uranium enrichment. Trump has requested modifications to the agreement text, including setting the uranium dilution period at 60 days, but Iran hopes to extend it to 90 days. There are still differences between the two parties regarding the amount and timing of frozen asset release. The US has promised to release funds after the agreement is implemented, while Iran demands that some funds be released immediately. If the negotiations enter the second stage, the expert group will develop a plan for nuclear material disposal and verification.
