According to FinnceFeeds, Ethereum developers are evaluating the EIP-8182 proposal, which plans to introduce native privacy transfers for ETH and ERC-20 tokens through the Hegot á hard fork. This proposal was created by Tom Lehman, co-founder of Facet, on March 3, 2026, and belongs to the Draft Standards Track Core EIP. It has not yet been finalized or arranged for inclusion in the upgrade. Hegot á is the next upgrade after Glamsterdam. The core of EIP-8182 is to create a standardized blocking pool system contract at the protocol layer, where users can deposit ETH or ERC-20 tokens and use zero knowledge proofs to spend the tokens.
