The Financial Services Commission of South Korea released a revised version of the "Guidelines for Artificial Intelligence in the Financial Sector" on the 18th, which will be implemented for the entire financial industry and FinTech enterprises from June 22nd, establishing seven principles of governance, legality, complementarity, credibility, financial stability, integrity obligations, and security. The Financial Supervisory Agency of South Korea will simultaneously release the AI risk management framework for the financial sector, and the Financial Security Agency of South Korea will release the AI security guidelines for the financial sector.
