Hu Xiaowei, a senior executive of Taizi Group, has been arrested in Japan on suspicion of making false relocation declarations

According to Asahi Shimbun, the Japanese National Police Agency has arrested Hu Xiaowei, a senior executive of the Taizi Group, on suspicion of falsely recording and supplying electromagnetic notarization certificates. Hu Xiaowei is suspected of submitting a false resident relocation declaration in April this year, falsely claiming to have moved from Osaka to Chuo ku, Tokyo, and was arrested in Osaka on the 14th of this month. The police also arrested two Chinese nationals who were commissioned by Hu Xiaowei to submit false declarations. According to data from the US Treasury Department and Department of Justice, the Crown Prince Group, including Hu Xiaowei, was included in the US sanctions list in October 2025 for committing international online fraud in Cambodia. The UK sanctions document referred to Hu Xiaowei as Wu Anming and identified him as a collaborator of Chen Zhi, the chairman of the Crown Prince Group.
