According to BIT market data, the US stock market opened lower on Tuesday, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index falling more than 6%. The storage sector continued to decline, with SanDisk falling more than 36% from its historical high, Seagate falling 31% from its high point, Western Digital falling 35%, and Micron falling 28%.
