Nagi Hamiyeh: Cryptocurrency investment is not under consideration due to regulatory uncertainty

According to CNBC, Nagi Hamiyeh, Global Investment President of Temasek Singapore, stated that cryptocurrency investment is currently not under consideration due to regulatory uncertainty. Temasek recorded an impairment loss of $275 million in 2022 due to the collapse of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange. Nagi Hamiyeh stated that the company is currently focusing on blockchain and its infrastructure, based on the actual impact of technology on the real economy. In terms of AI investment, Nagi Hamiyeh tends to focus on AI applications and business ecosystem construction, aiming to increase the proportion of AI investment portfolio from 6% to 15% by 2031.
