ING claims Red Sea shipping risks push up oil prices, Brent crude oil prices fluctuate

--

ING stated that the threat of Red Sea shipping increases the risk of supply disruption, and Brent crude oil prices may rise by more than 12% this week. Brent crude oil closed above $100 per barrel and fell to $99.39 per barrel in early trading, a decrease of 1.3%; WTI crude oil fell 1.4% to $90.89 per barrel. ING analysts point out that if Brent crude oil prices approach $120 per barrel, the negotiation pressure faced by the US President Trump administration will increase. For Iran, ING pointed out that the current core issue is how long Iran can withstand a sharp decline in oil revenue under the US blockade.
