Data shows that since January 2004, the M2 growth rate of major developed economies worldwide has exceeded nominal GDP growth: Canada's M2 growth rate is 368% compared to nominal GDP growth rate of 159%, the United States' M2 growth rate is 279% compared to GDP growth rate of 171%, France's M2 growth rate is 258% compared to GDP growth rate of 84%, the Eurozone's M2 growth rate is 211% compared to GDP growth rate of 102%, and Japan's M2 growth rate is 90% compared to GDP growth rate of 25%.
