According to Cointelegraph, Rob Hamilton, CEO of AnchorWatch and founder of Bitcoin Red Team, stated that after integrating OpenAI's Trust & Cyber capabilities into Bitcoin Red Team's security research, access restrictions were imposed, forcing a switch to Chinese open-source AI models. The Bitcoin Red Team has identified 1,288 critical and high-risk vulnerabilities within the Bitcoin ecosystem, with research efforts accelerating after the Coldcard hardware wallet was hacked (over $100 million worth of Bitcoin stolen). Rob Hamilton remarked that black-hat hackers face no restrictions, while white-hat researchers dedicated to reducing risks are being excluded.
