Citigroup Research stated that the upward trading of precious metals is not yet over, and silver, as a high beta asset of gold, has upward elasticity. If the situation in the Strait of Hormuz cools down and the Federal Reserve's stance is no longer hawkish, demand for precious metal investments will recover. COMEX's August gold futures settlement price rose 0.49% to $4383 per ounce, while silver futures fell 0.5% to $64.769 per ounce. Citigroup believes that silver has a chance to rise to $95 per ounce in 2027, but there is also a 20% chance of falling to $50 per ounce.
