[Bernstein Raises Global WFE Spending Forecast, Predicts 75% Growth Over Two Years]
According to TrendForce Research, Bernstein's August 11 report raised its forecast for global WFE spending in 2026 to $141 billion, in 2027 to $175 billion, and in 2028 to $198 billion, predicting a cumulative growth of 75% over two years. China's WFE demand for 2026, 2027, and 2028 is expected to reach $57 billion, $57.3 billion, and $101 billion, respectively. Domestic equipment manufacturers' revenue in 2026 is projected to reach $16 billion, with total annual imports amounting to $41 billion. The target price for Applied Materials has been raised from $525 to $675, Lam Research to $385, and KLA to $250.
