According to Cointelegraph, a research report from Binance shows that Generation Z traders on the platform are shifting their stock trading activities towards ETFs, with ETF trading volume accounting for 25% of their total trading volume in early August. In July, ETFs accounted for 21.9% of net stock inflows for Generation Z, up from 18.5% in June, while the proportion of funds flowing into individual stocks decreased from 77% to 74.2%. This study examined the trading activities of direct stocks, tokenized stocks, and traditional financial perpetual contracts, and compared Z-generation accounts with millennial, X-generation, and baby boomer accounts in terms of trading frequency, net capital inflows, and leverage usage. Among all three products, the transaction frequency of the younger generation is lower than that of the labor force in other age groups.
