Alphabet considers issuing Australian dollar bonds for the first time to support AI infrastructure expansion
According to Bloomberg, Alphabet has hired banks to arrange its first Australian dollar bond issuance, which may cover four maturities and up to 20 years. Alphabet has issued $25 billion in bonds this month and raised $85 billion through equity financing. Morgan Stanley expects the global issuance of AI related bonds to reach nearly $570 billion by 2026.
