According to TechCrunch, AI voice tool Wispr has raised $280 million in Series B funding, with a post investment valuation of $2 billion. It is led by Menlo Ventures, with support from existing shareholders such as Notable Capital, NEA, Neo Ventures, 8VC, and MVP Ventures. New institutions such as Acrew, Forerunner, Goodwater, Peak XV, Together Fund, and PLUS Capital have also joined in. The company has raised a total of 361 million US dollars in financing, which will be used to expand products such as voice transcription and meeting minutes, and launch a new voice model Canto, reducing error rates from about 30% to less than 10%.
