This round of rise is not solely driven by spot buying, and the concentrated liquidation of short positions is an important reason for the acceleration of the market.
Data shows that in the past few hours, the cryptocurrency market has experienced about $1.4 billion in short liquidation. After the price rise triggered a strong flat, the short positions were forced to replenish and further push up BTC, forming a typical "rise liquidation rise" chain.
On the news side, the US Treasury Department expanded the repurchase scale of long-term treasury bond bonds, driving the yield of long-term US bonds back down. At the same time, ETF funds appeared to buy again, and the expectations of encryption market regulation improved, which also provided support for risky assets.
But the problem is also here.
The rise above $70000 still requires verification from spot funds. If the subsequent bearish liquidation significantly cools down, while BTC can still maintain a high level and continue to increase volume, it indicates that the market is gradually shifting from a "bearish uptrend" to a real buying push; On the contrary, if the trading volume rapidly shrinks after the end of the liquidation wave and the price falls back to around $69000 or even $67000, it is necessary to be vigilant that this sharp rise will become a high-level shock.
