[Galaxy Research: Bitcoin Reclaiming the 50-Week Moving Average May Signal the End of the Bear Market] Galaxy Research points out that Bitcoin's 50-week moving average is currently around $82,000. Historical data shows that during six bear markets, Bitcoin reclaimed the 50-week moving average 13 times, with 11 of those instances marking the establishment of the bear market low, resulting in a failure rate of approximately 15%. In contrast, the 50-day moving average was reclaimed 106 times across six bear markets, with 43 failures, and the first reclaim of the 50-day moving average in each bear market always failed. If Bitcoin closes this week above the 50-week moving average on a weekly basis, historical experience suggests that the current bear market is highly likely to have ended.
