According to CCTV International News, the Iranian army issued a statement on September 2 stating that it deployed dozens of attack drones in the 30th phase of Operation Lightning to strike the radar systems and US military stationed areas at the UAE's Zaifra Air Base and Minghad Air Base, and used the "Alash" attack drones to launch attacks on the radar facilities and US military personnel gathering areas at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain. The Iranian military stated that this round of action is a response to the US attack on "innocent civilians" and accused the US of committing "obvious war crimes" by attacking residential areas and wedding venues.
