According to data from Bank of America, the US stock market recorded its sixth largest weekly inflow of funds since 2008 last week, led by institutional investors and hedge funds, with funds flowing into individual stocks and stock ETFs. Among the 11 sectors of the S&P 500 index, 8 received net inflows of funds, with the technology sector leading the gains, the communication services sector receiving its first inflow of funds in five weeks, and the industrial sector selling for the fifth consecutive week.
