Derek Chiang: Ethereum and Base Account Abstraction Standard Collaboration Breaks, Both Parties Will Advance Independently

Ethlabs researcher Derek Chiang stated that the collaboration between Ethereum and Base on the EIP-8130 and EIP-8141 account abstraction standards has broken down, and both parties will advance the standards separately. Ethereum pursues censorship resistance, open source, privacy, and security, while Base pursues scalability, customization, and compliance. There are differences in compliance requirements between the two sides. Derek Chiang believes that inconsistent standards can encourage both parties to innovate according to their respective visions.
