Bitcoin Core developer Niklas G ö gge stated that AI driven vulnerability scanning reduces the cost of vulnerability discovery, and attackers only need a few hundred dollars in computational costs to discover catastrophic vulnerabilities. Regarding Bitcoin Core, Project Loupe, Bitcoin Red Team, and individual contributors have generated over 1000 reports, but no high-risk or serious vulnerabilities have been identified yet. Niklas G ö gge believes that developers should build testing infrastructure through automated testing, fuzz testing, and attribute based testing. The key components of Bitcoin Core have completed over 100 years of CPU fuzz testing and decades of Bitcoin node network simulation. (Source: Bitcoin News)
