Deutsche Bank plans to launch Bitcoin and digital asset custody services by the end of 2026

Deutsche Bank plans to provide Bitcoin and digital asset custody services to European institutions and businesses by the end of 2026, after obtaining regulatory approval. Gerald Podobnik, Co Head of Corporate Bank, stated that the service will be implemented in parallel with the existing system, with specific configurations determined by customer needs, regulatory requirements, and bank risk preferences.
