Taylor Lindman: The first batch of compliant tokenized stock trading venues will be launched as early as next quarter
Taylor Lindman, Chief Legal Advisor of the SEC's Cryptocurrency Task Force, stated that the first batch of compliant tokenized stock trading venues will be launched as early as next quarter under the SEC's five-year Innovation Exertion framework. This exemption allows qualified platforms to conduct US stock tokenization transactions on the public chain through licensed AMM and liquidity pools. Institutions are required to issue operational notices to the public and report to the SEC within one working day after publication. SEC commissioners Hester Peirce and Taylor Lindman emphasized that this model leans towards on chain finance, with each trading platform having clear operational entities responsible for compliance.
