CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost stated that the short-term holder cost base of Bitcoin has surpassed the active long-term holder cost base, marking the fifth time in history that a bull market confirmation signal has appeared. Currently, over 3.5 million BTC held for over 10 years are in a dormant state, with an average monthly increase of approximately 8000 to 30000 BTC in this supply. Since 2019, this indicator has only experienced negative growth once, due to an early miner transferring approximately 100000 BTC. Darkfost believes that the current signal reflects positive changes in the Bitcoin market, with ETF liquidity inflows being one of the driving factors.
