Oh Kyoung-suk: Dunamu Seeks to Expand Overseas Markets, Promoting Integration of Digital Asset Systems with Global Standards
During Korea Blockchain Week, Dunamu CEO Oh Kyoung-suk stated that the company is seeking to expand into markets outside of Korea, aiming to connect Korea's digital asset system with the global financial market. Dunamu plans to collaborate with Naver Financial to build shared financial infrastructure, supporting banks and fintech institutions in deploying compliant on-chain financial services. Min Byung-deok, a member of Korea's Democratic Party, emphasized the necessity of regulatory and institutional support and urged the swift passage of the 'Basic Act on Digital Assets.' Currently, Korea's legislative and regulatory bodies remain divided on issues such as stablecoin issuance qualifications and the 20% ownership cap for major shareholders of cryptocurrency exchanges.
