Japanese companies expect an average increase of 2.6% in consumer prices over the next year, lower than the 2.7% expected three months ago. The Bank of Japan's "Short Observation" survey in September showed that surveyed companies expect an average annual increase of 2.6% in consumer prices over the next three years and 2.5% over the next five years.
MetaMask Staking has taken preventive measures to protect the assets of Ethereum verification node clients, including the withdrawal of Ethereum verification nodes operating under the Lido protocol. The relevant operations involve giving up part of the staking rewards and generating shutdown penalties. The verification node exit process has been initiated and is expected to be completed by October 7, 2026 at the latest. stETH holders do not need to take any action.
MetaMask stated on the X platform that some infrastructure has been affected by security incidents and no direct threat to the MetaMask wallet has been found so far. MetaMask is coordinating with clients, partners, and security consultants to proactively exit the affected verification nodes in the non custodial pledge business.
