EU regulatory authorities examine whether Binance has abused reverse solicitation exemption clauses
Binance failed to obtain the EU MiCA license this summer and continues to use reverse solicitation legal exemptions to serve EU clients. The European Securities and Markets Authority and regulatory agencies in France, Germany, Greece and other countries are reviewing Binance's use of this exemption, and some regulatory agencies have requested Binance to provide information. EU regulations require unlicensed cryptocurrency companies to exit EU operations from July 1st. Binance stated that it complies with regulatory requirements in the place of operation and is striving to obtain MiCA authorization. (Source: Financial Times)
