The Financial Commission of South Korea has released amendments to lower level regulations of the Electronic Securities Act and the Capital Market Act, adding stocks, bonds, and funds to the scope of securities applicable to STO, adding debt securities to over-the-counter trading platforms, setting the annual net purchase limit for general investors at 100 million Korean won, and requiring securities issuers to meet a minimum self owned capital of 4 billion Korean won and personnel allocation requirements for their directly managed accounts.
