EIP-8363 co-author Jerome de Tychey stated that the proposal was withdrawn from consideration for Hegot á upgrade. Industry participants, core protocols, and client contributors believe that discussing the scope of a hard fork is not suitable for deciding on policy changes for issuance. Jerome de Tychey plans to discuss ETH issuance policies through an independent process and strive for broader consensus.
