Ethereum Glamsterdam upgrade will be activated on the Sepolia testnet on October 6th

The US Treasury Department has withdrawn the authentication rules for self custodial wallet transactions in 2020 and the rules for cryptocurrency mixers in 2023.

Michael Selig, Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), stated that the agency will follow the directives of President Trump to advance the cryptocurrency regulatory framework in the absence of new legislative support from Congress. The CFTC has issued a proposed rulemaking advance notice targeting companies involved in retail customer margin, leverage, or financing transactions for crypto assets and plans to establish a new designated contract market category called 'Crypto Asset Market' (CAM). Umia, a token issuance and governance platform, raised $6.11 million through a seven day auction of UMIA tokens, with a fully diluted valuation of $18 million. 17.3 million tokens were sold, accounting for 34.6% of the total supply. The tokens were circulated immediately upon launch and were not locked in. Ten funds including Galaxy Ventures, DCG, Draper Associates, Maven 11, and nearly 700 individual bidders participated, with approximately 45% of the funds coming from institutions that did not have board seats. Umia helps the project to issue coins through a unified legal framework, on chain auctions, and decision-making market governance.
